This project is a critical initiative to mitigate the global impact of Roe v. Wade's overturn on sexual and reproductive health rights and justice (SRHRJ) through South-South activism and solidarity. "Building on the momentum and the transformative potential of intersectional organising in the Global South, Fòs Feminista seeks to mitigate the threats brought about by the overturn of Roe v. Wade by working with partners in the Global South to develop and implement proactive, evidence-based communications and advocacy strategies in support of SRHRJ." Key Responsibilities & Achievements: 1. Developed a comprehensive media monitoring framework to identify and track anti-choice entities operating in India, analysing their strategies, messaging, and public mobilisation efforts across digital, print, and social media platforms. 2. Conducted primary analysis in English, Hindi, and Assamese languages and profiled key actors and trends challenging reproductive autonomy, uncovering overseas linkages and dissecting their influence tactics. 3. Compiled an extensive media scoping report, providing deep insights into anti-choice actors, narratives and emerging trends. 4. Designed media toolkits and materials as strategic communication resources for CommonHealth partners. 5. Spearheaded a workshop in the North-East region, fostering partner engagements and regional solidarity. 6. Designed and implemented 'My Abortion Lifeline', a narrative change campaign centering positive lived experience of abortion-seekers to counter opposition narratives.

As a project management intern at Tiok Tea Estate (Teloijan Tea Co. Ltd.), I gained valuable experience in the tea industry, focusing on worker welfare and operational improvements. Key achievements include: 1. Designed a Needs Assessment Tool to identify gaps in workers' welfare provisions 2. Conducted in-depth stakeholder interviews to gather critical data 3. Assisted in cost-benefit analysis of potential interventions 4. Co-designed a hospital upgradation plan for the estate-managed Tiok hospital

1. Conducted comprehensive reviews of MTV Nishedh's 'Khul Ke Bol' series for implementation in the Virtual Peer Education (VPE) Program across three northern states of India, focusing on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) to enhance Adolescent and Youth well-being. 2. Evaluated content format and message clarity, identifying key highlights and areas for improvement, and provided actionable recommendations to enhance the effectiveness and reach of the content. 3. Developed digital dissemination plans with detailed strategies for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and WhatsApp, including posts, stories, statuses, tweets, polls, and quizzes. 4. Provided feedback for the comprehensive guide for Virtual Peer Educators. 5. Prepared and submitted monthly activity reports.

1. Successfully completed capacity-building training in Research Design, Methodologies, Data Collection, and Policy Analysis provided by ICRW Asia. 2. Developed a comprehensive Knowledge Product titled "Influence of Social and Gender Norms on Men’s Engagement in Family Planning" by analysing India's population and contraception policies and conducting qualitative in-depth interviews. 3. Contributed to the creation of actionable insights and recommendations to inform policy development and advocacy efforts aimed at improving family planning practices and outcomes in India.

- Participated as a Faculty member in the 1st Asian Conference on Adolescent Health & 22nd National Conference of Adolescent Health Academy and Indian Academy of Paediatrics. - Facilitated pre-conference workshop on the need for meaningful youth engagement in the AY-SRHRJ model - Addressed the need for youth-friendly SRHR services in the healthcare ecosystem.

1. Co-created fellowship project tools and designed a Health Facility Assessment(HFA) tool. 2. Led a cohort of 10 fellows and trained them in using the tools for mapping and designing state-wise advocacy plans. 3. Authored an analytical report based on findings from 54 abortion facilities across 7 states in India. 4. Authored 2 educational products: a handbook on safe abortion and contraception and an advocacy booklet.

The Safe Abortions For Everyone (SAFE) programme is dedicated to safe abortion awareness and advocacy in India, with a special focus on the marine fisherfolk community in Kerala and the tea garden labourer community in Assam. It aims to understand common myths and misconceptions around abortion among young people, and provide them with complete and unbiased information from a rights-based lens. As a course coordinator, I: 1. Coordinated with the SAFE team to develop audio-video resources on safe abortion and contraception in Assamese. 2. Onboarded 10 participants to the MOOC platform and assisted them throughout the duration of the course. 3. Facilitated 5 virtual capacity-building sessions with legal and healthcare experts. 4. Conducted a training session on the basics of advocacy.

During this virtual meeting, I addressed ministers and policymakers on the critical need to leverage and accelerate existing programs in India, such as the Rashtriya Kishor Swasthya Karyakram (RKSK) and the Ayushman Bharat School Health & Wellness Programme, to safeguard the SRHR needs of young people. This platform enabled me to advocate for the integration of SRHR into school health initiatives, emphasising the importance of holistic approaches to adolescent well-being.

The YP Foundation and the Guttmacher Institute collaborated in the development of “Adding It Up: Investing in the Sexual and Reproductive Health of Adolescents in India,” a report estimates the need for, impact of and costs associated with providing essential sexual and reproductive health services to adolescents in India. As a field consultant, I: 1. Attended capacity-building training sessions and completed assignments on contraception. 2. Networked with youth advocates, adolescents, NGOs, government representatives, CSOs, and service providers from Assam to be part of the consultation. 3. Conducted one state-level consultation to generate contextually rich insights on contraceptive and SRH needs of young people, contributing feedback to the final insight report. 4. Mobilised a diverse audience of young people across Assam for the Guttmacher Fact Sheet launch event.
