As VP of Marketing at Prism Places, I lead the strategic vision and execution of brand, marketing, and communications efforts across our national portfolio of dynamic, mixed-use assets. From repositioning iconic properties to launching bold experiential campaigns, I focus on projects that connect places with people—and cultivate community, culture, and commerce in the process. I work cross-functionally with our property teams, development partners, and executive leadership to drive performance through storytelling, design, and data-driven insights. From tenant engagement to digital strategy and placemaking, I ensure our marketing efforts are intentional, effective, and aligned with the unique character of each project.

Prism Places is the premiere privately-held owner and operator of mixed-use places with a national presence and $2.5B of AUM. The portfolio spans the Western U.S., Mountain West, and Sunbelt regions. As the Marketing Director, I led onsite property marketing teams and assisted with new business development, leasing and merchandising, redevelopment planning, and investor reporting. As a Senior Marketing Manager at Prism Places, I oversaw properties in Colorado and Texas. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Built relationships with world-class brands and tenants. - Tracked the performance of properties and regularly reported to Prism partners with data-driven decisions. - Managed marketing budgets and effectively invested into local communities. - Produced 400+ annual events per property. - Cultivated partnerships with key stakeholders. In 2022, I accepted the Corporate Award from the Art Centre of Plano for Legacy West’s involvement in the community.

Legacy West is the largest mixed-use retail destination in North Texas featuring the best in shopping, dining and a world class Renaissance hotel.

With a core strength in retail combined with expertise in office, industrial and residential product types, DJM's superior market knowledge and strategic acquisition of undervalued assets is represented by a current portfolio of over 3 million square feet.

Through varied offerings, WeWork Labs systematically eliminates barriers to growth, so that founders can focus on building sustainable, valuable companies of the future. I mentored startups through the WeWork Labs Global Mentors Network.

Tech Wildcatters is a mentorship-driven seed fund that prepares startups for life beyond demo day. Dedicated to entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds, TW cultivates candidates with a curriculum-driven approach to funding, support them with mentorship that focuses on the whole person, and support them to become prosperous contributors to the global community.

Every year, Dallas Startup Week brings together entrepreneurs and change-makers for a week-long experience, described as the largest entrepreneurial event in North Texas, where they exchange ideas, collaborate, and grow alongside the 10th largest startup ecosystem in the US. Through the Director of Events and Programs position at the Dallas Entrepreneur Center, I led a team of volunteers and community stakeholders in organizing the largest entrepreneurial program in DFW. In 2018, Techstars Startup Week Dallas hosted 100+ events over the course of 5 days and drew in over 6,000 attendees.

The Dallas Entrepreneur Center (The DEC) is a coworking space and 501c3 non-profit created to help entrepreneurs start, build, and grow companies through education, mentorship, and community. I organized content and network driven programming for the startup community and hosted events for some of the largest industry names locally and globally. The DEC - and my role - exists to provide Education, Mentorship, and Community to entrepreneurs.
