Hardware development of Body Control Modules. The BCM control and monitor body electronics components and their functions. Enhanced diagnostics allows failure detection of wiring or components (bulbs or other electrical devices) and can start emergency mode or alert the driver about malfunctions. The BCM is an integration platform for internal and external light applications, access/terminal functions, windshield wipers, heating and climate functionality, Parking Aid systems and others. The increasing functionality and complexity in automotive electronics needs powerful communications network infrastructures and flexible E/E architectures. The Body Computer is one central device with its opportunity for integration of a Central Gateway functionality to ensure communications between different buses (LIN, CAN, Flexray and Automotive Ethernet 10BASE-T1S / 100BASE-T1) and different domains. Hardware development of Control Modules for smart agriculture machines. Activities: • planing and leading of hardware activities • analysis of hardware requirements (customer requirements, environmental conditions, life-time, ISO standards ...); • preparation of the design proposals and the BoM creation necessary for calculation of the product cost; • creation of the electrical schematics; • support for the PCB layout design; • perform Worst Case Analysis and Functional Safety Technical Analysis FMEDA, FMEA; • product validation: support of the design verification and validation (EMC/EMV qualification), design of test system and definition of the test specification; • preparation of all documentation related to the hardware design as required by the engineering process (Electrical Characterization, HW-SW interface, PTS...); • participation in customer meetings; • launch of the product in series production and support for warranty claims after start of production; • analysis, design and evaluation of the measures proposed from DTC as well proposing additional improvement measures.
