In this role, I majorly lead projects related to the production of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) based high strength fibers using gel spinning technology. My duties involved the following: • Management of projects from proposal writing to procurement to commission. • Coordinating presentations for customers and project members to detail project scope, progress and results. • Scheduling and facilitating meetings between project stakeholders to discuss deliverables, and conflicts. • Recruiting and overseeing personnel to achieve performance and quality targets. • Organising International webinars in collaboration with our sister company E-Spin Nanotech and In-person training workshops on advancements in the field of Electrospinning & Nanotechnology.

Thesis: Studies on regenerated non-mulberry silk fibroin and its blends This entire research work was focused on exploring the blending capacity of Antheraea mylitta (tasar) silk fibroin (ASF) with other polymers to develop biomaterials of enhanced physicochemical properties. Working in the same direction, PVA and gelatin two polymers were used to make blends with tasar silk fibroin. The silk fibroin/PVA blend solutions were first analyzed for their rheological behavior and flexible films and advanced 3D nano webs were developed from them for utilization as biomaterials. Furthermore, tasar silk fibroin was attempted to blend with gelatin and its preparation methodology was explored to create flexible films for biomedical applications. • Chemistry Software: Origin-Pro 8.5, Mendeley, Chem-draw • Instrumentation: Electrospinning, Fourier Transformed Infra-Red Spectroscopy (FTIR), Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), Universal Testing Machine (UTM) for mechanical properties, Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Rheometer, Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), Optical Microscopy, SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy), Incubator shaker, Biosafety cabinet.

Anchored for the inaugural event of Environment Day Celebrations, 2020 IPR Cell, Delhi Technological University Anchored for a one-day workshop on Indian Patent Filling Procedure jointly organized by RGNIIP Nagpur and DTU on 28th May,2018

Chemistry Society Volunteer (2010-11) Handled the publicity, helped organize the paper presentations. Volunteered in the event ‘Inauguration of the International Year of Chemistry-2011’ by C.N.R. Rao at St. Stephen’s College. Student's Union Society Deputy Secretary (2011-12) Efficiently organized events in ‘Capriccio-2011’. Organized events in ‘Harmony’ the annual fest of St. Stephen’s College and helped organization of the term dinner. Member of the team that coordinated the National Science Fest. Social Service League, Executive council member (2010-11) Was a core team member of the Blood Donation Camp of 2010, and worked extensively to make it a remarkable success. Volunteered to teach underprivileged students an hour 6 days a week. Volunteered for cleanliness campaigns, and Salwan Marathon Indian choreography society General Member (2010-11) Participated and organized cultural events. Helped in organizing Shakti (annual production). Handled publicity and costume designing.
