Prepare surgery trays and sterilize surgical equipment. Provide chair-side assistance during surgical procedures including but not limited to extractions, bone grafts, and implants under local and general anesthesia. Assist with sedation processes, monitor patient vital statistics during procedures, and update patient records. Take intra-oral and panoramic x-rays and CT-scans. Discuss treatment plans with patients and provide pre-operative and post-operative advice.

Start-up digital health company that consults with healthcare/digital health companies to help them better serve their clients, and works to raise awareness for chronic autoimmune disease and other health conditions. Work directly with CEO and founder, Dr. Bonnie Feldman, who has previously worked as a clinical dentist and as an equity research analyst on Wall Street. Duties include conducting research, writing reports, blog posts, and other marketing material, helping draft pitches for meetings and conferences, creating new ways to attract consumer, scientific, and entrepreneurial audiences, managing social media presence, and assisting in the authorship of a new ebook about the oral microbiome.

Ensure instruments for procedures are sterilized & prepare instruments for use. Seat patients & provide chair-side & administrative support to dentist. Restock items & maintain an inventory of supplies & instruments. Help coordinate schedule & bill patients/insurance companies.

Lead drop-in support groups for students through a research collaboration with the UCLA Depression Grand Challenge. The Resilience Peers reinforce iCBT learning under close professional supervision and receive ongoing training for their supportive role through this collaborative study.

Interact with SCI patients enrolled in clinical studies during testing sessions; assist with data collection for interoperative studies.
