Analysed and reviewed opportunities for Singapore enterprises’ expansion into China. Benchmarked study against the climate of US-China trade conflict. Assisted Singapore enterprises in their business development venture into Chengdu, China.

Nature of the role in the department entailed (i) safeguarding the interests of consumers and businesses by ensuring an accurate system of weights and measures in Singapore, and (ii) protecting consumer safety by ensuring consumer products supplied in Singapore are safe for use and comply with applicable safety standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES • Conducted market analysis and research for clients (e.g. Lucca Vudor, Chye Seng Huat, Naiise) • Developed comprehensive business plans for clients such as HomeToLife, and Network Courier to onboard business development programmes (CDG & MRA) and awards schemes (Business Excellence) with SPRING and IE Singapore (now known as Enterprise Singapore) • Delivered fully functional training manuals for clients such as Purpur • Facilitated the development of marketing brochures for clients • Networked with overseas personnel for partnership opportunities • Analyzed franchise agreements and ensure clients’ interests are reflected

Department: Group Risk Management - Compliance • Fraud Monitoring: Performed monthly review/trend analysis of cash acknowledgement receipts and Medisave policies. • Leaders’ Inspection: Assessed leaders’ compliance to Training & Competency requirements. • Assisted in developing a Balanced Score Card Framework to assess the effectiveness of leaders.
