Rachel Kimboko
Math Interventionist / Elementary Substitute @ Lee Montessori Public Charter Schools
About
Montessori educator and school leader with 25+ years of experience supporting children’s development by strengthening adult practice, leadership, and learning environments. I’ve worked as an elementary guide, instructional coach, assistant head of school, and executive director in public Montessori settings. My work focuses on helping educators and leaders translate Montessori theory into coherent, equitable practice—especially in complex systems shaped by accountability, growth, and change. I specialize in: • Coaching teachers and leaders through observation, assessment, and reflective practice • Supporting Montessori implementation with integrity in diverse, public-school contexts • Designing adult learning that honors development, identity, and professional growth My approach is grounded in AMI training, research experience, and long-term engagement with equity-centered leadership work. I believe Montessori is not a fixed method, but a developmental framework that challenges adults as much as it serves children. I work with educators and school leaders who want depth, clarity, and alignment—without losing humanity in the process.
