[Job Responsibilities] - Supplier Management: Responsible for procuring semiconductor raw materials (substrates, chemicals) and managing relationships with international suppliers (China, Japan, Germany, Austria, etc.). - Annual Procurement Planning: Conduct material inquiries and annual negotiations, ensuring the procurement aligns with production plans, budgets, and inventory requirements. - Cost Control and Risk Management: Monitor fluctuations in raw material prices, devise countermeasures, and establish secondary sources to prevent supply chain disruptions. - Reporting and Analysis: Analyse trends in the raw material market and provide regular reports to the company's management. - Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with Business Unit heads and R&D units for demand forecasting and material intake. [Project Management] - GaAs Wafer Project: Assisted in achieving approximately a 5% cost reduction year over year for the company. - Implementation of 2nd Source: Successfully introduced a secondary source for critical materials to enhance supply chain resilience. - Pandemic Response: During the closure of Chinese airports amid the pandemic, facilitated the rearrangement of material schedules to maintain the company's safety stock levels.
