* Administered and distributed small grants to neighborhood associations and local agencies, complying with various NY State Departments’ funding requirements, in conjunction with an NY State Senator’s office * Wrote proposal and compiled material to procure funding on behalf of BSRC for their frail senior’s building * Created performance evaluations for various administrative positions to strengthen the human resource function within the organization and help BSRC comply with funding requirements * Developed an action plan to seek foundational and corporate funding on behalf of BSRC in order to finance new construction and programming * Participated in the implementation of a city-wide “Work Rewards” pilot program and study assessing employment outcomes for families in low income housing * Attended various in-house and community meetings on behalf of BSRC as an observer, leader, participator and minute-taker

Based in New York, Footsteps provides a range of services, including social and emotional support, educational and vocational guidance, workshops and social activities, and access to resources. Thanks to Footsteps, former ultra-Orthodox Jews have a safe, supportive, and flourishing community to turn to as they work to define their own identities, build new connections, and lead productive lives on their own terms.
