Managed a staff of 25 employees, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance, as well as leading monthly staff meetings and addressing any staff concerns. Created staff schedules and schedules for up to 70 children at a time. Served as a liaison for parents and the community, including monitoring children's progress and speaking to parents about any concerns. Worked with the head teacher of the preschool to create lesson plans on a weekly basis, which included arranging library tours and other special activities.

Packed, inventoried, researched, and catalogued artifacts found in the collection of a historic home and barn. Correctly located and placed items within the context of the OHS current collection. Coordinated with businesses and other cultural organizations to re-house objects unable to fit into the collections of OHS. Supervised and assisted with the transfer of objects from their original location to a larger permanent storage facility.

* Coordinated and facilitated class activities, including ordering supplies for class and acting as a liaison between the lecturer, Dr. Clavir, and the Burke Museum of Natural History and * Culture. * Negotiated donations of materials from the archaeology and ethnology departments in the Burke Museum to the class, including objects needing conservation. * Responsible for maintaining the condition of all artifacts used by the class in their work.

* Photographed a variety of artifacts in the Burke ethnology department. * Monitored the retrieval, handling, and re-housing of artifacts in the ethnology collection. * Updated the collections database through scanning and linking images with catalog records.

* Developed education programs for campers, utilizing museum exhibits and programs as well as independent research. * Created schedules and established contacts in the museum to facilitate programs. * Supervised two team leaders and lead education activities for campers.

Researched and created content for the curriculum of the exhibit, Spain in the Age of Exploration 1492-1819. Developed ideas for educational materials in the galleries for this exhibit. Organized and facilitated teacher advisory groups that examined the most effective way of presenting relevant exhibit material in a museum.

* Organized and facilitated the repatriation of objects in the collection. * Maintained the suitability of housing for the objects to be repatriated. * Worked with the Past Perfect database to catalog a variety of scientific objects in the collection. * Set up exhibits and worked with outside sources to facilitate the set up of exhibits in OMSI.

* Managed the membership and major gift records through the Raiser's Edge database system. * Trained employees and volunteers on the membership database, and coordinated with the Finance department to ensure the accuracy of all records. * Wrote grants for the museum, and served as a community liaison in the acceptance of grants, including travel on behalf of OMSI.

Museum Studies 07/2005 Thesis Project: Created a handbook to facilitate the international repatriation of human remains and associated grave goods. Researched information on current international repatriation policy in order to create a cohesive argument for pursuing international repatriation in U.S museums. Monitored the condition of and re-housed the artifacts to be repatriated.
