The aim of this project is to develop a simulation tool for Battery Energy Storage System(BESS) for a 4 MW solar photovoltaic power plant. An optimization algorithm is designed using MATLAB. The simulator can analyze technical and economic parameters of BESS for ancillary services (Primary Frequency Regulation and Market Arbitrage scenarios).
