My responsibilities included liaison with the Central and State Govts. to ensure that the policies are conducive for economic growth and development of industry, trade and services.

Worked as Joint Director (Projects) with ASSOCHAM where my role was to serve as a link between the Industry and various Ministries of the States and Central Govt. We held Conferences and Seminar and mounted delegations abroad and also received Delegations from abroad and connect them with Industry and Trade. I headed the deptts. in Banking and Finance, , Insurance, , Security, , Legal Affairs and IPR.

I was heading Training & Performance appraisal deptt. of the Bank. Was overseeing working of 5 Training colleges, preparing their training schedules/modules/budgetary approval from the Board, foreign Training and performance appraisal of all officers (scale I-Scale VII). Dealing with Ministry of Finance, Banking Divin, IIMs, BTC, NIBM, Pune and CAB, Pune etc.Attended various programmes/conferences organised by BTC, Mumbai, NIBM, Pune, CAG, Pune, IIMs and NIBSCOM. etc. Addressed trainees at NIBSCOM, NOIDA and at our own Staff Training Colleges, at NOIDA, Chandigarh, Bhopal, Mumbai and Kolkatta on HR issues.

Head of International Divn. leading a group of 7 sales officials touring International markets.

Being HOD for NBFC, Banking and Finance, Security, Legal Affairs, IPR and Insurance, I represent ASSOCHAM in dealing with various Ministries of GOI and also inviting top ranking Govt officials of such Ministries for dialogues with our members through Conferences/Seminars and Round table meetings.
