• Develop predictive modeling that incorporates behaviors and increased level of data granularity; • Use machine learning techniques to improve forecasts and produce business insights, leverage visualization and reporting tools; • Partner across Finance, Risk and Business to derive strategic insights, provide thought leadership into key findings and actionable recommendations to influence business strategy; • Understand and adopt emerging technology that can affect the application of the quantitative analytical approaches and technique; • Hands-on experience managing/ leading projects using large amounts of data and application of advanced predictive analytics.

Courses offered: (1) Circuits theory: (2) Electronics. Responsibilities: (1) Offering the students lectures ( course sizes vary from 20 to 75), labs guidance, weekly recitation and help session; (2) Generating course materials, including lab manuals, exam questions, and course ppt.

Research Projects: (1) Developing experimental methods to correctly measure the hysteresis characteristics of three-phase transformers under any topologies; (2) Experimentally study the effect of the magnetic tank on the transformer's transients behavior; (3) Designing and building a prototype of the high-efficient toroidal transformer with a brand-new topology, generating the relevant patent; (4) Experimentally study the practicability of the high-frequency wind turbine, developing the prototype and design equations.

Responsibilities: (1) Designing and developing the prototype of the high-efficient toroidal transformer with excellent thermal performance; (2) Simulating and experimental testing the electrical performance of the prototype.

Research Project: (1) Developing dual-reversible model for three-phase asymmetric transformers; (2) Numerically filtering the hysteresis characteristics of three-phase asymmetric transformers from the terminal measurements.
