Brookfield Renewable Power Inc – National System Control Center (NSCC) [2013-14] Lead System Architect—Lead the project of the Backup Control Center implementation in USA. A new failover design approach for the control center operation was required which lead to the implementation of a new control center and along with it's network integration. A new server room was designed and built and all network communications services were reviewed to accommodate the new architecture. The seamless migration of all ongoing telecommunications services was achieved including the reconfiguration of the satellite backup services. This was done in close relationship with the SCADA team to re-engineer all interfaces to system (including externals) and new DMZ security zones. [2013] Network Integration of aquisitions (Whitepines & Windstar). [2012] Network Integration of several acquisitions : Granite (Windfarm) , Tehachapi Windfarms (Coram, AltaWind8, GE and Vestas windfarms) and Smoky Mountain (Hydro-Electric 300MW) project. [2008-2012] Lead System Architect— responsible for the network implementation and related telecommunication activities for two new control centers (USA & Canada) used for energy generation. Lead a team of engineers for deployment and integration of a high-availability communication network. Support for the SCADA system integration and other communications applications.. Participate in the system specification of operation and security features complying with the NERC standards.
