A passionate drug hunter and seasoned executive with 20 years of professional and managerial experiences within major pharmaceutical companies in both United States and China; in depth experience in drug discovery across multiple therapeutic areas and made key contributions to multiple clinical stage assets for both small molecules and biologics. Including 6 small molecules and 8 biologics. Among them: 1) SHR-4640, URAT1 inhibitor for gaut, Phase III trial in China. 2) SHR-1316, humanized PD-L1 antibody for cancer, Phase III trial in China. 3) SHR-1459, BTK inhibitor for cancer, Phase I trial in China. 4) SHR-1501, Fc-fusion protein for cancer immunotherapy, Phase I trial in China. 5) SHR-2150, TLR7 agonist for cancer, Phase I trial in China. co)authored 29 peer-reviewed papers and 4 book chapters; inventors on 29 patents; broad skill sets and expertise in: Project Leadership, Research Informatics, Biologics discovery, Protein Engineering, Cheminformatics, Bioinformatics, Medicinal Chemistry, Virtual Screening, Structure-based Drug Design, and Scientific Programming; Recipient of the 2013 Shanghai Pujiang Talent award. Built the entire research informatics platform from scratch in Hengrui, including ELN (Electronic Notebook), BRS (Biologics Registration System), CMS (Compound Management System), Inventory (Reagent Management System), and a web portal (mihub.shhrp.com) to provide a unified online access to all of the systems. Made key contributions to three cheminformatics systems in Pfizer, 1) Pfizer Global Virtual Library (PGVL), the compound design software with 10E+18 synthesizable chemical space; 2) Web-based p450 metabolism prediction tool, called CLAMP (CYP Ligand Analysis Metabolism Prediction); 3) WebCalcPro, a java-based tool to facilitate the decision making process of project medicinal chemists.
