As a BD Director, I'm client's point-of-contact for all pre-contract activities, including CDA/MSA, service line introduction, study feasibility, budget and some free consultation which I may liaise Labcorp's rich pool of experts. I'm responsible for clients with company registration in the Greater China, with Beijing and Taipei my focused territory but also Shanghai and Suzhou. Though most of my clients would rely on Labcorp's complete non-clinical and clinical service solutions from our Shanghai Early Development site, Shanghai Central Lab and BioA Lab, and Singapore Central Lab and BioA Lab, I'm also able to sell Labcorp services in our EU and US sites to clients in the Grater China.

My job at Teddy Clinical Research Laboratory includes: - Establish and maintain global inter-laboratory collaborations. - Global vendor qualification, management. Global site training, etc. - Scientific and regulatory consultation for sponsors regarding study feasibility, sample import/export and other aspects of global clinical trials operation. - Project Leader on a series of MRCT Phase III studies. Have worked on 40+ studies for their initiation in China and globally. A large part of my role is to liaise between laboratory scientists and clinical operation team. This involves some comprehensive understanding of laboratory technics and clinical operations so to facilitate communications and to balance between innovation, feasibility, and regulation compliance. I have led some frontier studies such as Covid-19 Phase III vaccine trials.

Team leader of Viva's Biochemical and Biophysical Assay group. The team has grown from a supporting role with 4 scientists to 15 people and a major profit-maker and business highlight of the company in a little over three years. My position is a combination of three roles: As technical leader to solve scientific questions; As the team manager to continuously pursue workflow optimization and automation; And as project manager to take key communication and study management works. The team has developed hundreds of new assays and has helped dozens of global pharmaceutical companies and startups.

A short "bridging" postdoc after my PhD study at EMBL. I used electron microscopy (both negative-stain and cryo-) as primary tool to solve structures of protein complexes. I’m also very experienced on molecular biology, (membrane) protein expression and purification.
