- Drive strategic mapping, planning, scientific, and business analysis to identify first/best – in – class drug development opportunities, leveraging the proprietary ByteDance AI platform—successful fundraising for a team of drug development scientists. - Portfolio & projects management. Initiating & leading autoimmune and metabolic disease projects from target evaluation, assay development, hit identification, to lead optimization towards pre-clinical candidate development. - Recruiting and management of a fit-for-purpose team of computational scientists, medicinal chemists, and disease biology experts. - In vitro/in vivo biology lead. Management of in-house wet lab team, as well as CRO experimental execution, troubleshooting, and data interpretation. - Core competency: immune & metabolic disease drug discovery, fundraising & start-up creation, AI for drug discovery.

- Obesity and Diabetes Drug Discovery Pipeline Project Management. Developing detailed scientific and business rational packages for the pipeline project towards drug development milestones. - External innovation: mapping, evaluation, and management of external pipeline projects and technology collaboration through an open innovation platform (INNOVO). - Organizer of Novo Nordisk – Chinese Society of Metabolic Biology monthly forum to promote industry- academic collaboration.

- pre-clinical pipeline project discovery & management for NASH, CVD, and Obesity through advanced human genetics analysis and high-throughput functional genomics screening. - Tech lead: establishment of genome-wide CRISPR gene editing and siRNA functional screening platforms in primary tissue. A core member of the therapeutic CRISPR gene editing project team - Manager of NGS platform for drug targets and biomarkers discovery

- Machine learning modeling of complex biological processes. Including immune cell activation, stem cell lineage programming, cancer drug resistance evolution, and precision genome editing prediction, using genome-wide perturbation & single-cell sequencing technologies.

- Genome-wide screening to dissect cell and molecular signaling transduction of cell activation and cancer development. - lipid nanoparticle systems for nucleic acid delivery. - super-resolution microscopy such as PALM and STORM for single-molecule, live cell profiling.
