Built and scaled BaryonBib from scratch - an AI-powered productivity tool for researchers. Being both a centralised bibliography platform and a unified research tool, it provides scientists with trusted academic information and boost their productivity in daily work. I owned the full stack end-to-end: a Java/Spring Boot backend with RESTful APIs and PostgreSQL, and an Angular frontend. On the AI side, I integrated LLM APIs to deliver features including paper summarization, a conversational paper chatbot, and an academic writing assistant. Beyond engineering, I ran 100+ user interviews with researchers across institutions to drive product decisions, and secured funding from the Max Planck Society.
