Assisted Professor in conducting teaching activities of the course Algorithms, including grading/providing feedback to assignments as designated by professor, attending course meetings and holding office hours.

Used C++(for computing) and Python(for data processing) to independently develop the stock backtesting module of the company’s quantitative trading platform Nova . Rewrite python functions of common libraries using C++ for better performance. Used C++ and Python to develop a pipeline that routinely and automatically receives, cleans and decodes Level II market data(e.g. deals, snapshots, and canceled/added orders) of stock, ETF and futures pushed from stock exchange.

Made 20+ presentations at customer’s, introducing product solutions and answering following questions on technical details. Translated customer needs into effective requirements, and partnered with development team to create solutions for customers using Spirent's products. Ensured contracts that would bring 8M$ revenue for the company in 2021.

Participated in the Intelligent RAN Operations project that uses Machine Learning technology to replace previous automation and manual intensive tools to deal with the complexity of 5G network and increase customer network operation efficiency by 50% . Trained 30+ engineers in handling software development cycles, as part of their induction processes. Lead team of 10 to o ensure overall quality of Nokia’s 5G flagship base station software affecting 5M users (hospitals, governments, military, etc.) worth $300M in revenue (year 2018), and required to have 99.999% availability.

Created an automated code pipeline that streamlined the software development process by removing manual efforts of code building , system testing and deployment of application. Implemented a tool called Pegasus that called Python scripts to automate the execution of user cases of the IP transport module of Nokia’s base station software product, thus increasing system testing efficiency by 60%. Wrote 50+ Python scripts for that tool. Wrote 80% C++ code of the transport module of Nokia’s base station product the Liquid Radio Cloud(LRC) , and reviewed the rest.

Responsible for the research and development of the Layer 2 and Layer 3 module of Huawei’s carrier grade router system the Versatile Routing Platform running on Huawei’s NE40E X3 series router line card that supports up to 1Tbps switching capacity. Used C++ to implement  Dijkstra shortest path algorithm; merge the codes,in Linux system, into router product software features including OSPF and RIP . Independently researched and developed the feature Layer 2 Broadcast Suppress for the Layer 2 module and the feature Committed Access Rate for the QoS(quality of service) module of Huawei’s Versatile Routing Platform. Refactored the software structure of the Layer 2 and Layer 3 module , thus increasing the quality of code base by 50%, measured as the number of failed unit test cases.
