The Carrier Relations Telcom & Network Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end management of the technical infrastructure that supports carrier connections and telecom operations. This includes overseeing Points of Presence, provisioning resources such as DID numbers and internet connectivity, and ensuring uptime and reliability Will also play a critical role in automating deployments, monitoring systems, and ensuring adherence to telecom compliance and security standards , ensuring infrastructure setups align with business and operational goals. Infrastructure Management: Setup, manage, configure, and optimize Points of Presence and interconnections across regions to ensure high availability and performance. Resource Provisioning & BYOC Interconnections: Oversee the provisioning and configuration of telecom resources, including DID numbers and call routing, as well as coordinating Bring Your Own Carrier (BYOC) setups for clients. System Monitoring and Reporting Monitor network performance and carrier connections, identifying and resolving issues, latency, packet loss, or disruptions, there is a need to act on reporting and tracing activities. Automation and Deployment Automate infrastructure setups using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and maintain CI/CD pipelines for telecom infrastructure services. Compliance and Security Ensure all setups comply with local telecom regulations and implement security measures to prevent unauthorized access or fraud. Carrier Interconnection and 3rd Party Provider Integration Coordinate and validate technical requirements for onboarding new carrier or provider partners, ensuring seamless integration and testing into network prior to provisioning and use by customers. Documentation Create and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure setups, interconnection protocols, and troubleshooting procedures. Collaboration Work closely with compliance teams, and internal engineering to ensure infrastructure aligns with goals.
