Prof. Noura Alshehri

Senior academic and executive leader with more than 15 years of experience in higher education, specializing in institutional leadership, strategic planning, and academic innovation. My professional experience focuses on leading institutional transformation, developing applied education programs, and building strategic partnerships that align educational outcomes with labor market needs. I currently hold a leadership role at the University of Jeddah, where I have contributed to the development of applied education and the launch of 26 academic and professional programs designed to meet evolving workforce demands. I have also led initiatives to strengthen institutional reputation, build strategic partnerships with government and training organizations, and support the sustainable growth of the Applied College. I played a key role in the institutional transition of Al-Faisaliah campus from King Abdulaziz University to the University of Jeddah, overseeing the alignment of academic plans and managing the transition of more than 2,000 students into the new academic system while ensuring stability and continuity of academic operations. My experience also extends to the national level through chairing committees within the Education & Training Evaluation Commission (Qiyas) for several years, where I contributed to operational development and the expansion of national testing center capacity. In addition, I have delivered professional workshops and presentations in major national events, including Hajj Expo and the Supply Chain Conference, along with participation in several professional forums and academic events that strengthen collaboration between education and industry. My professional interests include strategic leadership, higher education transformation, academic policy development, and strengthening partnerships between universities and economic sectors to support national development and the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
