SUMMER TRAININGS: * Pathology department of Bombay hospital and medical research centre, Mumbai (May 2007) I have been an observer for demonstration in various clinical biochemistry techniques and methods involved with diagnosis of various diseases. * Haffkines institute for training research &testing Mumbai, (June 2007 ) I attended annual biotechnology programme including demonstration for diagnosis of rabies ,ELISA ,tissue culture, isolation of PBMNC’S(peripheral blood mononuclear cell),scintillation counter , flow cytometry,chick embryo inoculation ,serological test in infectious disease, study of malarial parasite, fluorescence microscopy, histopathology technique and PCR & RT PCR . Volunteer at inter collegiate festival “ Malhar” St Xavier’s college,Mumbai * I had the opportunity to work for underprivileged people and street kids at the community center of karuna hospital, Mumbai. * A course of learning basic Sanskrit language followed by a written test at St Xavier’s College * A coursework on art of practicing Zen Buddhism and its ideologies * Participation in a Parkinson disease camp at Mittal Ayurveda College,Mumbai Activities and Societies: HONOURS PROGRAMME: Concurrent with graduation at St Xavier’s College,Mumbai with following being my projects . * Comparison and extraction of seed Protien( Maize,Rice, Wheat) using SDS PAGE * Growth and maintenance of a few varities of Algaes and studying the cumulative growth pattern of Oscillatoria in varying color of light source.
