I’ve spent years learning a simple truth— “𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙡 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙚𝙭𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙚𝙭𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙤𝙣 𝙖 𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙮”. With a Marketing Management degree from JBIMS, and decades of experience, I’ve worn many hats — from managing large-scale B2B tech portfolios, to founding a sustainable Fashion House, and then to a sustainable Marketplace with 200+ brands. Managing the massive scale of Corporates, and the high-stake agility of the Founder’s journey, I know how to devise a strategy which actually works when it hits the ground. Transition from being a Corporate B2B employee to D2C Founder hits sharp. It feels strikingly different when an enterprise deal is getting negotiated at 10:00 AM, than bugging head into Meta Ad or accounting numbers at 2:00 AM. While years of Corporate experience built a strong foundation in enterprise sales, operations, and discipline, my Entrepreneurial journey made me an expert in sustaining challenges of D2C growth —— thin budget, compliance, marketing, and unforgiving operations. Must say, Entrepreneurship is a roller coaster ride. Not a cup of tea. Most definitely, not for everyone. Yet, thoroughly thrilling. Running a startup made me a CA without degree, a Digital Marketer without any certificate, and best of all, ‘an Executive’. Oscillating between ends excelled me to remain balanced, calm, composed, and yet be restive, when it comes to executing the plan. I am a writer at heart, and an avid reader. Writing and publishing a book is in the works! Best about me— not shy of putting questions before anyone, be it the person of half my age. Learning new things keeps me enthusiastic and driven. As on date, learning AI, and its use cases in the business. Believing that progression is the only constant factor in life, I am on to the path of launching another exciting venture in the convenience category. Blocks and pieces are getting structured to create a firm foundation, fuelled by the lessons of my own successes and failures.
