Reserving Experience • Worked for Aviva General Insurance UK on quarterly valuation of liabilities for Commercial Motor and Personal Motor LOB • Managed a 3-member team to complete quarterly valuation of claims liabilities • Handled end-to-end task from Data Preparation to estimation of Reserve numbers, and preparation of Reserve report for senior management • Developed Reserving Dashboard using Excel (VBA) to assist Offshore/Onshore teams for better modelling of the liabilities during quarterly valuation exercise • Developed Diagnostic tools for development of claims and checking results during quarterly valuation • Developed various applications in Excel (VBA) for preparation of reports pertaining to Triangle Reinstatement before quarterly valuation • Prepare any additional analysis which may be required by management/Group on quarterly valuation or capital modelling • Monitor new and existing large claims developments between valuation quarters and prepare Monthly Indicative Movement Reports
