Accounting student looking for entry level or intern position. I have a very strong background in customer service; working in retail for than three years has helped me become more professional handling and resolving client’s problems. However, even though most of my recent jobs have been retail positions, they don’t show the true skills and knowledge that I possess in the accounting field. For more than four years, since my junior year of high school, I’ve been studying accounting, so I have a strong understand on how basic accounting operates. Also, from my years studying accounting, I can manually post transactions into the journal, create income statements, a statement of owner’s equity, balance sheet, and trial balance on to QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. With Microsoft Excel, I can even provide financial reports including, but not limited to, cash flow reports, profit and loss statement, budgeting, and spreadsheets.
