Ran a ground-breaking service that enabled consumers to watch premium TV and movies by engaging in brands of their choice, on their schedules and on virtually any device as a separate activity from consuming content. Secured new release TV and movie streaming deals with Warner Brothers, Paramount, NBCUniversal, AMC Networks, and Starz. Signed on top advertisers including Electronic Arts, Dr. Pepper, Snapple, Aflac, Liberty Mutual, and Warner Brothers. Envisioned, designed, and built a multi-platform consumer application and two business intelligence consoles for content owners and advertisers. From scratch, designed and implemented an in-house video streaming infrastructure capable of handling hundreds of thousands of simultaneous users.

Led post-acquisition integration with NameMedia's key web properties spanning tens of millions of users in such community verticals as military, cars, gardening, and entertainment. Engineered a universal API for integrations with numerous rich internet applications and classic web services.

Led all aspects of technology development for a web-based photo and video sharing startup with pioneering social networking features, including frontend design, backend architecture, and infrastructure build-up. Created a system capable of handling hundreds of millions of images at low cost. The company was acquired by NameMedia, Inc.

Managed all key aspects, including financing and P&L responsibility, of the international information security consulting business focused on penetration testing and social engineering vulnerabilities. Led fundraising efforts to secure $1.1 million in private angel investment. Grew the company to fifteen employees in three countries.

Member of the executive board (Vorstandsmitglied) of a German venture capital and operating firm focused on high technology and media investment. Responsible for investment selection and business plan analysis. Sourced, negotiated, and managed six private equity investments with total realized return of 130%. Conducted technology and financial analysis, due diligence, negotiated contracts for $20 million in strategic equity investments and debt placements, including exclusive distribution and operating partnerships valued at $120 million.

Co-founder of the teen academic aid and entertainment start-up. Responsible for software development and strategy. Start-up was acquired for $30 million by a NASDAQ-traded company iTurf and later on bought by Barnes and Noble. Created a viral marketing engine that amassed three million registered users in a year and attracted an average of four million unique visitors per day. Led several development projects that to promoted the explosive growth of the company.

Performed structural analysis and presentations for 11 tender bond offer/refinancing and securitization transactions for top public utilities, such as Pacific Gas & Electric, SoCal Edison, Florida Power & Light, Con Edison, and others. Developed a proprietary bond tender/refinancing model for a $200 million Socal Edison transaction that won business for our bank. Created a unique model for converting asset-backed structure for transition bonds into an insured corporate bullet for a $4 billion PECO Energy transaction.
