I am more than a self-defense instructor; I am an advocate, public speaker, and martial artist on a mission to empower women and transform lives. With over 30 years of experience as a martial artist holding a 4th Dan black belt in Taekwondo and a 1st Dan black belt in Hapkido, I specialize in teaching practical, real-world self-defense skills that foster confidence, resilience, and strength. As a survivor of abuse, I’ve turned my personal story into a source of empowerment for others. Through my brand, Pretty Hands, Hard Punches, I help women recognize and defend against abuse, set boundaries, and find their inner strength. My work extends beyond physical self-defense—I equip women with the emotional tools to reclaim their power and thrive. I am passionate about helping women harness their strength and face the world with courage, whether through hands-on workshops, keynote speeches, or one-on-one mentorship. My goal is to break barriers, shatter stereotypes, and create a ripple effect of empowerment in every community I touch. When I’m not teaching or speaking, I’m navigating life as a wife and proud mom of a spirited six-year-old, exploring ways to balance strength, vulnerability, and growth.
