I worked with the onsite Project Management Team on the UGA Special Collections Library located in Athens, GA. Working on the Library was a lot of work and a great experience. The SCL is an Archive Library and will be used like a museum to display very valuable historic documents; the most valuable of which being the original Confederate Constitution. The Vault sits 30 feet below grade and maintains 50 degrees and 30% humidity at all times, a climate where paper doesn't age. The job was in the Submittal Process so I processed countless submittals in Prolog Manager. I started and led the LEED Submittal process by creating a Form, LEED Information/Instruction Sheet, and a Cover Sheet tailored for each Sub/Vendor. I was assigned to set up the SCL on Prolog Website so that all of the members of the Project Team could access the job on the internet. Using Prolog Website makes the RFI and ASI processes more efficient and allows users to view the Project Documents (Drawings, Specs, Site Photos, etc.) with the convenience of the net.

Currently managing a hospital critical care tower vertical expansion project as well as patient tower, Operating Room and an Emergency Department renovations at the Medical City Dallas Hospital campus.

General Construction Contractor on St. John, Virgin Islands

I've just finished working as an assistant project manager on a 300,000 square foot, six level concrete office building at the Old Parkland campus off Oak Lawn and Maple Ave in Dallas. The project was an outstanding learning experience for me. I am currently working on an interior buildout of a patient floor at Texoma Medical Center. The 7th Floor Buildout is an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) contractual format, where the Design Team, MEP & Drywall Trade Partners and GC sign the same agreement with the owner. I've enjoyed learning how the IPD delivery works contractually, financially and operationally. The project team was trained on and has implemented many Lean construction ideas on the project and our team continues to seek new innovative ways to improve the construction process. Also, our Project Team has implemented the Last Planner System on the project. I have enjoyed managing and measuring our Team's ability to plan an meet near term commitments.
