Conduct meal observations at 45 facilities per month receiving food program's services. Evaluate methods of food preparation and train staff on food handling and safety techniques. Implement all agency policies and procedures and ensure CACFP regulations are followed. Review meal benefit forms and ensure documents are accurate.Interact with children, parents, and staff. Plan, organize, and present for in-service training. Aide in menu planning. Assist the Nutrition Center Manager as needed.

Assist patients with meal selections for the day.Modify menus and verify food orders are accurate. Ensure the patient receives the correct therapeutic diet at meals.Communicate with the patients, nursing units, dietitians, and food services regarding patient menus, diet changes, questions and concerns. Act as dietary supervisor when needed.

Responsible for program management, coordination, monitoring, and training for the Child and Adult Center Food Program (CACFP). Conduct food service evaluations in schools and ensure USDA and State regulations are maintained. Review meal benefit forms, transportation logs, medical statements, field trip requests, food orders, budget questions, and prepare the monthly reimbursement claim. Develop policies and procedures according to the California Department of Education requirements. Train staff on CACFP topics and address any questions or concern in regards to the program. Research nutritional information and send educational materials to sites. Collaborate with Directors to enhance the child nutrition program and assist them as needed.

Serve as Front of the House Manager/Shift Supervisor. Training and coaching of team members and new managers. Liaison between management and coworkers. Create a wonderful guest experience that brings customers back. Obtaining, verifying, and expediting guest meals and beverages. Conduct interviews, safety meetings, and employee evaluations. Provide excellent leadership and accountability in a fast pace environment and handle daily trainer responsibilities.

Responsible for the overall operation of the Child and Adult Care Food Program services. Develop menus according to United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) guidelines and ensure the Head Start Performance Standards and the Child Adult Care Food Program Guidelines are maintained. Develops a comprehensive Nutrition Service Area Plan with yearly updates. Monitors centers and Family Child Care homes utilizing the Head Start Comprehensive Monitoring Tool. Organize and facilitate the Health Services Advisory Committee and provide directions to nutritional staff, center personnel, and parents on nutrition services and its impact on health.
