With over 10 years of experience in microtechnology and bioengineering, I have founded robotics, AI (mapdeduce.com, sold), and tissue engineering companies (akita.bio) I have several scientific publications and 30+ patents covering microfabrication, diagnostics, cancer modeling, microfluidics, and sensing technologies: https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=Tx4hLocAAAAJ&hl=en With my deeptech interests, I have been supported by national and European Union fundings (Horizon, MSCA, EIC, BF, TEKES, etc) for the past 10 years, with a cumulative project funding of over 20 million Euros. In my previous roles, I have been a researcher (biosensors, diagnostics, molecular biology, nanophotonics, surface chemistry), GIS with UAV/satellite data (and operator) for mining/forestry/SAR; scientific outreach, and grant writer. With multiple publications and patents in organ-on-chip, diagnostics, and nanobiotechnology, I try to bridge research and business. I am passionate about innovation, collaboration, and social impact, and I live by two mantras: - what we do today makes tomorrow - the only easy day was yesterday My current interests are semiconductors, robotics, diagnostics, and material research.
