Pratik Chakraborty

I'm Pratik, Co-founder of SpringPad. I've dedicated over 10 years to trading global markets and securities across various asset classes. I began my career as a proprietary trader at an options desk in Mumbai. My experience and expertise subsequently led me to a global hedge fund based out of the UK. Throughout my trading career, I've worked with a diverse range of financial instruments—from commodities like crude oil, wheat, soybean, and copper, to major global indices including the S&P, Nasdaq, DAX, and FTSE. I've also traded interest rate products and, most notably, Indian equities and F&O, which remain my area of particular specialization and passion. What I find most exciting about our work at SpringPad is how we've transformed traditional trading strategies into AI-powered, fully automated systems. Despite beginning with no formal background in programming, I successfully leveraged AI tools like ChatGPT to develop robust, profitable trading strategies that now operate at scale. At SpringPad, I'm dedicated to helping our community understand and implement AI-driven approaches to trading, removing complexity barriers and making sophisticated financial strategies accessible to everyone.
