Prathamesh Ghanekar

I’m a software engineer with 10 years of experience and a strong foundation in systems programming, Linux, networking, and cloud. Over the years, I’ve moved up the stack—from writing firmware for FPGAs and forwarding ASICs of router to working on cloud-native dataplane services for distributed, multi-tenant SaaS offering. I’ve enjoyed both ends of the spectrum, but I’ve found myself increasingly energized by the challenges of building at cloud scale. I enjoy collaborating across teams and stepping beyond organizational boundaries to see problems from every angle. Conversations with product managers about customer needs, with SREs who keep systems running around the clock, with QA engineers who recreate real-world complexity, and with support teams who face customers directly—each interaction brings valuable context that shapes better engineering decisions. These perspectives make the work meaningful and help me grow as an engineer. I value environments where learning never stops, cross-functional thinking is encouraged, and building resilient systems is a shared responsibility. I bring strong fundamentals in C, C++, Linux, and systems architecture, complemented by recent experience with Go that has broadened my perspective on concurrency and modern service design. F5 has given me a meaningful breadth across multiple layers of cloud networking—an advantage that’s strengthened my ability to reason about complex systems end-to-end and helped me identify the areas where I want to deepen my expertise going forward.
