* Worked as a project engineer in a EPC company which deals in the field of oil & gas. * Handling projects related to CP system for bullets, tanks, vessels, buried pipeline, cross country pipeline, plant piping. * Provided technical engineering support and project management for the design, engineering and development of Cathodic protection system plant * Handles various Projects with complete support in Engineering, Procurement, Dispatch and site activities/support, Client approach and vendor management and experience with strong problem- solving skills and a creative approach for generating new ideas. * Coordinated technical development, scheduling and problem solving for engineering design and test problems. * Excellent grasp on engineering and design principles, played an instrumental role in getting design approved by the customer and hence finishing the project on time along with understanding of manufacturing process and construction methods. * Evaluate customer specifications to ensure appropriate material; documents and instrumentation are being supplied. * Responsible for developing engineering documents including schematic,SLD,typical GA diagrams of Cathodic protection system, junction boxs data sheets, instrument data sheets, junction box layouts, loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, panel wiring diagrams and material specification. * Also,responsible for developing electrical specifications including Remote monitoring panels, Transformer rectifier unit,power distribution box,UPS, cables, junction boxes,cable glands,single line diagrams, cable sizing, grounding layouts, cable tray layout,junction box mountings and construction layouts. * Managing the entire project work from installation, commission,pre commission to AMC services along with project manager & site engineer. * Carrying out TPI inspection for materials with witnessing all points as per QAP before dispatch of materials at site. * Vendor negotiation & purchasing material at L1 rate.
