👋🏽 Hi, I'm Prasanta. 🎓 Received my PhD from Université Grenoble Alpes, 2x Marie-curie fellowship from EC and graduated with a Master's degree in Aerospace engineering from University of Manchester. 🌇 Live in Bangalore, with a passion to build technology for sustainable development. 📚 Currently building Newtrace with a goal to enable affordable green hydrogen for decarbonisation of large scale-industries and transportation. Previously worked for Leonardo helicopters on helicopter design, Convergent science on software development, Kwest research on market research and analytics. Was a Founder-in-residence with Entrepreneur First India for 2 cohorts. 💻 As for my future, I am interested in building businesses and technologies to tackle problems in large scale development and with a potential to positively impact public lives. 🏔 In my free time, I spend time in nature hiking and with family & friends. 💪🏽 My strengths are in growing businesses, operations and new product development.

Thesis title - ‘Simulation of cavitation erosion by a coupled CFD-FEM approach’. -Developed compressible cavitation solver with arbitrary-lagrangian eulerian (ALE) formulation using Fortran & Python in the CFD code YALES2 for simulating hydrodynamic cavitation in fluids. -Developed & validated step-wise methodology for fluid-structure interaction (FSI) coupling with FEM code Cast3M to analyse the multi-physics coupled dynamics in cavitation erosion. -Numerical modelling of the dynamics of cavitation bubble collapse near solid walls & multi-physics simulation for estimating solid surface deformation & material erosion.
