Personal achievements : ▪ Honoured following National Awards in Scouting ▪ PRESIDENT AWARD (RASTRAPATI PURASKAR) awarded by the then President of India Dr K R Narayanan in 1998 ▪ GOVERNOR AWARD (RAJYA PURSKAR) awarded by the then Governor of West Bengal Mr R A Kidwai in 1991. Professional / Industry level activities: ▪ Member of the Group for identification of issues in the implementation of IFRSs in the context of insurance laws and regulations for submission to the Sub-group of ICAI for Liaising with the Government and Regulatory Authorities ▪ Contribution to Working Group of IRDA on Convergence to IFRS ▪ Member of various Sub-group of General Insurance Council to review the Industry issues and applicability of various accounting and accounting regulations (including to the reinsurance companies) ▪ Been speaker in many study groups meetings and active member of BFSI study group. ▪ Speaker at IIM Lucknow at Noida Campus Literary Contribution Contributed by way of various articles, Lectures, and views on taxation, Union Budgets, Accounting and General Insurance Industry.
