Project Titled: Revisiting Prostate Cancer in India: A genomic review Type : Review article Supervisor: Dr. Prashanth N Suravajhala In this review, we have focused on various aspects of prostate cancer which were previously untouched particularly in India. As per a good review outline, we attempted to give a gist of the background of the disease, its prevalence, identification and challenges associated with it. With underdeveloped diagnosis in developing countries particularly, South Asians, there are challenges seen relating to environmental influence. Furthermore, we compared datasets containing two exomes and two transcriptomes from different geographical areas to point out the common bona fide genes of prostate cancer.
