As an Engineering Intern at IKO Ennis, I apply both technical insight and structured data management to enhance reliability and maintenance operations. I extract and standardize spare parts data from mechanical and electrical schematics into IBM Maximo CMMS, ensuring consistency and usability for maintenance workflows. I assist in classifying critical electrical components to support preventive maintenance planning, thereby helping reduce downtime. Additionally, I contribute to developing the plant’s asset hierarchy in Maximo and support inventory coordination—assigning bin locations, labeling parts, and maintaining accurate data entries—to improve real-time visibility and cross-functional alignment. I’m also involved in scheduling preventive maintenance tasks, aligning them with operational requirements to enhance equipment uptime.
