Creating learning strategies to meet business needs

Areas of Responsibilities Instructional Design My responsibilities included coordinating with the Sales for presales activities, coordinating with SMEs and other internal and external stakeholders of the project, understanding the training needs, developing content outlines and training solutions, coordinating with instructional designers and the development teams during production, ensuring the product is developed within stipulated budgets and timelines, reviewing the product for quality, and managing changes in the product until the product is signed off. I also mentored, appraised, and provided constructive feedback to instructional designers. Pricing I was one of the two members in the Pricing Cell that aligned cost and effort estimations with strategic sales decisions. Organizational Training I was involved in writing the policy on organizational training and tracking its execution. I coordinated with functional heads to plan and execute functional training and develop competency matrix. I also identified the needs for soft skills training for the organization. I designed, developed, and conducted soft skills training. I conducted over 40 hours of training for functional leads and project managers to align them with CMMI processes. With the help of the training coordinator, I also maintained training records, including training effectiveness evaluations. Quality, Process, Audits As a Process Engineering Group (PEG) member, I was one of the owners of the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS). I wrote and modified processes, gathered feedback from the floor, and devised process improvement plans. I helped teams with process-related guidance, templates, guidelines, style sheets, and checklists. I audited projects for process adherence, prepared audit reports, and participated in the Management Review Meetings.
