Pradeep Malhotra

Pradeep possesses three decades of industry experience, targeting solutions for enterprises, infrastructure providers and wireless carriers. Pradeep started Blue Jeans operations at Bangalore in Aug, 2012 as Managing Director and since then has established a world class team to drive key R&D projects and other important business functions. Bluejeans was acquired by Verizon in 2020 and Pradeep took over the VP of Advanced Communication Technologies group in 2022. Prior to BlueJeans India, he was Sr. VP of Engineering and Managing Director (India Operations) at NewNet Communications, leading the worldwide R&D and services teams with 400+ engineers. Before joining NewNet Communications, Pradeep was responsible for managing the global software engineering team at Vanu Inc. and also for the site operations as Managing Director for the development center at Bangalore, India which he had founded back in 2007. Vanu is the leading software radio firm whose innovative technology enables wireless operators to launch multi standard RAN services quickly. Prior to Vanu, he has held a broad range of positions including software development, engineering management and general management roles with Trillium Digital Systems that have covered technologies such as: SS7, VOIP, ISDN, wireless (2G, 3G, CDMA etc.). He was a key architect there in developing the Distributed Fault Tolerant architecture for telecom protocols and applications and was awarded a patent for the same. Having worked in US for 8 years, Pradeep headed back to India in 2004 to start the India operations for Continuous Computing from scratch and he grew the operations to 100+ employees in less than 2 years time. Pradeep started his career in 1993 working as a Research Engineer at Center for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) at New Delhi, India. Pradeep possesses a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication from IIT, Roorkee (India) along with an Ex MBA from IIM, Bangalore (India)
