Project Procurement for 10.4MW steam turbine project at RP Chemicals PTA Plant (Reliance group) at Kuantan, Pahang and scrapper condenser project POY B at Nilai, Negari sembilan. Involving expediting major items and procuring auxiliary equipment’s for the project such as, pumps, motors, structures, pipes & fittings, package equipment’s and cranes. Involving plan and implement logistical strategy, ensuring target time of delivery. Oversee product storage at port and forwarders yard, handling and distribution, track goods from origin to delivery. Vessel loading coordination as per incoterms, tracking, customs coordination at destination port, local transport co ordination, escort approval from local authority for heavy equipment transportation from port to plant. Budget update, weekly & monthly report, contractor status and project material stock verification. Vendor validation, registration, importing, goods follow ups, logistic coordination, custom clearance documentation and site coordination. Dealt with major global suppliers and local suppliers. Sourcing OEMs for cost optimization and for actual / original components. Spares & commodity purchase for turnaround and for plant maintenance as per MRP. Preparation of RFP, RFQs, sourcing and PO creation, spares management, contract management, Obsolete notification with material change order and expediting procured material in time. Experience in SAP MM module RFQ to GRN process.

• Capex procurement and sourcing expert. • Responsible for sourcing, procurement (P2P/P2O) process & managing capital goods like elevators, compressors, chillers, cooling towers, HVAC systems, construction / building materials, office interior items, FRP grating, Insulations, lightings, electrical & instrumentation packages. • Preparation of RFQs and RFPs as per the specification, floating enquires and consolidation for package equipment’s, infrastructure contractors, fabricators and associated project stack holders. • Technical and cost comparison, negotiation, terms and conditions finalizations as per cost, quality & delivery (C Q D) basis. • Strategic sourcing, Identifying and develop the new supplier/stack-holders for back up and smooth process through by vendor assessment, validation, registration and contract finalisation. • Responsible for package equipment’s sourcing to order release and control till reach to site. • Working closely with end user / project in charges for budgeting, estimation, lead time of the projects and cost variance. • Co-ordination with supply chain team, transport providers, unloading & store handling team for smooth delivery at site. • Dealt with major global suppliers and local suppliers. • Know-how of GST, SST, import terms, incoterms and transport documents. • Preparation, Review and finalization of NDA, LOA, rate contracts and POs for successful suppliers. • Weekly, monthly procurement reports with cost, delivery & details of cost avoidance for review.

• Projects co-ordination (Basic & Detail Engineering design and detailing) for H2S and CS2 recovery plant projects for viscose staple fiber (VSF) plants, chemical plants and paper & pulp industries. • Identify the new sources for backup and supply optimisation. • Involving in man hour estimation, detail engineering costing and work allocation procedures. • Inter department co-ordination & handling various engineering design consultant’s with respect to all the relevant engineering designs. Handling multiple projects and managing team for different deliverables. • Preparation of TBA for static and rotary equipment’s for multiple vendors. Working closely with procurement team (either client or in-house team) to finalizing vendors for projects. Accountable in work with vendors till technical Specifications are finalized. • Sourcing static, rotary and package equipment suppliers, prepare the preferred vendor list and the contract documents for supply proper. • Involving in erection, commissioning, trail run and plant hand over activities. • Preparation of Daily, weekly and monthly project reports with engineering delivery status.

Preliminary study of enquiry and basic scope of the system & understanding the client requirements, rolls and scope in a project including contractual obligations. Act as a single point of contact for initiating, planning, execution, monitoring & controlling and closing the projects. Responsible for Engineering coordination, commissioning and completion (CCC) of projects with respect to process parameters. Responsible for project procurement, RFQ, RFP and PO preparation for the project items. Sourcing (Indeginous and international) suppliers, negotiation and finalization. Supplier validation, shop inspection, QC auditing and registration. Responsible for vendor identification for cables, motors, instruments, panels, valves, gearboxes, electro-mechanical components and spares as per the requirement. Experience in procuring of assembly components, capital items, project items & consumables. Co ordinating with system integrators and panel builders for smooth delivery. Preparation of supply clauses as per the project requirements, follow up, inspection and site delivery of the goods. Knowledge of GST rules, import & export regulations. Know how of incoterms. Rate contract preparation and agreement on C.Q.D basis. Preparation of billing schedule, budgetary project estimate for individual department and protocols in terms of project execution and completion. Responsible for bought out equipment estimation, fabrication and painting costing, contract evaluation, validation and finalization for new projects. Manage and tracking of equipment, follow-ups, planning and coordination for in time delivery. Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly report for the delivery and project status.

Preparation of technical specification, data sheet, material selection and manuals. Checking of GA drawings with respect to engineer design changes, preparation of MTOs and project thesis. Preparation of conceptual design, basic engineering and detailed engineering. Generating of mass balance and water balance for the pellet and beneficiation plant. Obsolete management, supplier and client co-ordination for the critical items. Preparation of proposal documents, RFQs and tender documents. Involved in estimation and costing for the project bidding.

Responsible for engineering of mechanical package equipments like, grinding equipment, mixing equipments, AHUs, compressors, flirtation systems and other process units. Preparation and Checking the P&IDs, design calculations, drawings, equipment list, data sheets and requisitions. Responsible for TBA / TE, review and technical appraisals for the bought out equipments. Involved in basic and detail engineering, preparation GA drawings, equipment layout and project documents. Preparation and issuing of RFQs and RFPs for procurement the bought out items.

Design the fuel oil facility system, product handling, piping design & pipe supports. Preparation of piping layouts, detailing, design calculations, Isometrics and BOQs, Review of vendor drawings and documents. Preparation of basic plant configuration, equipment sizing, flow sheet, P&ID, PFD, GA drawings, piping material specifications (PMS) and equipment layouts using various standards and codes (ASME, API, etc) Concurrency of civil and structural drawings with respect to equipment and piping load data. Maintain all work activities get completed as per quality norms, safety policies and as per project specifications. Estimating and providing inputs to site as per design changes and producing as built drawings.
