* Investigate, negotiate and settle routine and moderate claims over the phone or by mail * Provide timely service, which ensures prompt and fair settlement of claims in accordance with company policies and guidelines * Managing the portfolio of claims through effective time management and customer service. * Liaising and negotiating with third party insurance companies, negligent third parties on the claims. * Evaluate each claim assigned and conduct investigations where necessary * Reducing the number of outstanding recovery claims through effective negotiation with relevant parties. * Recovering monies from liable parties. * Liaising with the insurers and third parties regarding the claim. * Minimize the aged debtors list by effective recovery process. * Handle all telephone inquiries regarding hire ar or claims and provide information as requested * Performing to set KPI’s in relation to the recovery of monies. * Working as part of team, attending team meetings and contributing to the team as a whole where appropriate. * Adhoc duties reasonably requested by line managers.
