Polina Salnikova

Since 2024, I have been responsible for the Ultrapolymers European business strategy within the market segment comprising flexible packaging, compounding, W&C and other extrusion applications. My main tasks include managing strategic partnerships with one of the company’s key suppliers; achieving business results on a European level through regional sales teams; setting up a business development framework and leading a European BDM team; and strengthening Ultrapolymers' presence in the target markets. From 2021 to 2024, I was in charge of building a new business and managing its growth across multiple countries in Central Asia. From 2014 to 2021, I worked in various technical and commercial roles in the CIS region and combined it with responsibility for the Healthcare business in Eastern Europe and several European projects in the area of Employee Onboarding and Sales Excellence. I started my path in polymer science, I hold a PhD, and I'm the author of several patented inventions.
