About
Research and development scientist | Technology transfer specialist - Influential, solution-oriented, rigourous research and development scientist with 8 years of experience leading a research agenda within a industry/university alliance and conducting scientific research to propose improved ergonomic analysis tools under minimal guidance. - Analytical and rigourous technology transfer specialist with 5 years of experience in computer science and human modeling and simulation, developping and transfering the technologies from proof-of-concept scripts to Dassault Systemes frameworks (C++), while continuously improving them for better robustness and performances. - Managing deadlines and deliverables related to innovative new software products and solutions inside an AGILE framework in order to meet clients requirements. Ability to share research findings in a way that is accessible to coworkers and to the research community through journal and conference publications, patent applications and presentations. SOFT SKILLS - I am patient, optimistic, rational, calm and easy-going. I naturally set myself goals that motivate me and bring me satisfaction. My main motivation is for my work to be useful to many people. I value emotional intelligence and work-life balance. KEY ACCOMPLISHMENT - Being the only Research and development scientist in my team, I leaded the development and the transfer of the Smart Posturing Engine technology into Dassault Systemes frameworks CURRENT INTEREST - Learn more about artificial intelligence and determine how it can be applied to accelerate research & development in my fields of study.

Research And Development Scientist
Montreal, Canada
Recruited to supervise scientific research inside the Virtual Ergonomics team, pursuing the research efforts initiated in my 2 previous roles as ETS university collaborator, with a growing number of responsibilities, including the initiation and execution of a research agenda under minimal guidance KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS - Leading a main project with 10 sub-projects, transferring knowledge and technology through: code delivery from MATLAB proof-of-concepts to Dassault Systèmes C++ frameworks within an AGILE team, technical document writing (4), patent applications (2), and student supervision (4) - Develop, implement and continuously improve the Smart Posturing Engine technology, which replaces classical manual posturing (10 mins, 1625 mouse clicks) by a fully autonomous process (18 sec, 1 click) thus reducing the posture computation time by 97% - Increased the number of plausible postures from 63 to 92% in 3 years by providing 149 fixes (30 per yr.), while accounting for a growing number of environments (20), simulated tasks (371) of growing complexity in order to encourage customers to adopt the product
