- Responsible for all the products at iHuman Patient for both frontend and backend. iHuman Patient provides a virtual simulation patient encounter for both nursing and medical students and professionals. - Lead a group of engineers to perform a tech upgrade from a Java frontend and backend system to a react frontend, node.js backend system. - Design and develop a single unified system that allows running the old technology that runs in Java/flex and a new technology that runs in react/Node.js. - Make design decisions based on the existing system while keeping a vision of moving to a new system without too much rework or efforts. - Juggle between a tech upgrade that would allow more flexibility for the product while also developing new features to move the business forwards. - Upgraded the reporting system from a Ruby on Rails frontend and backend system to a react front end with Java REST API backend system. - Change the customer facing systems to be fully accessible by WCAG level AA guideline.
