1. General Manager (TS , QA and Maintenance Management) NTPC North region - SSC Auraiya • Heading Maintenance Management group, Technical Services Group and Quality Assurance group. • Job involves dealing with works & purchase contracts of Northern region projects for OT/LT/ST/ OEM/OES Cases etc.. • Instrumental in getting Handled 900+ Purchase orders costing approx. 500 + Cr. in a year. • Facilitated the preparation and finalization of Qualifying requirements related to Purchase requisitions received approx. 150 QRs in a year for open tender cases. • Processed QPs for different Packages . • Inspections of on-going Solar Projects at Bilhaur & Auraiya. • Monitoring scrutiny of PR on receipt w.r.t. correction of codes / text /availability of documents like quality plan / drawings /technical data sheets, etc • Facilitating reduction in nos. of PRs by clubbing & Optimisation of PR quantities leading to inventory reduction • Monitoring Technical vetting of Tender documents , Technical scrutiny of bids & Tender Committee recommendations • Monitoring recommendations for alternate source specially in OEM/OES Cases • Monitoring reduction in Process time

 Stage –II (2x660 MW) of Rs. 9188 Cr linkage with 6.5 MTPA captive coal blocks Kerandari • Project review of different packages like SG, TG, Ash system , Water system, CHP, Ash dyke, Fly Ash Evacuation System, AC & Ventilation system etc. • Instrumental in draft preparation of review petition to CERC for Rs. 180.2 Crore to be considered in the tariff of Unit#5 justifying the delay of 10 months. • Closely monitored proper record keeping (Hindrance Register/ Site Order Book/Protocols for every package. • Facilitating and expediting front handovers from one agency to another. • Expediting L2 claims related to L2 revisions for SG, TG, NDCT, AHP , CHP packages. • Resolving design issues at site level in association with corporate engineering. • Coordinate project review meetings and Contract review meetings along with representatives with agency, corporate engineering, corporate contracts and site. • Land Acquisition for project. • Boundary management with State & district authorities for physically handed over of land & power evacuation lines to NTPC. • Expediting commissioning activities. • Monitoring the safety aspects during project.  Stage –I (4x110 MW) • Reviewing the O&M Activities. • Review of OPI – Operation preparedness Index. • Resolving & expediting exceptions of ORT. • Expediting fuel availability with Coal India. • Monitoring Safety through 16 Safety area zones for different locations of plant. • Pivotal role in ISO accreditation of plant and environment management through critical parameters monitoring, mitigation. • Review of Security Issues. • Dry Sorbent Injection system for mitigating/reduction of SOx level by M/S K C Cotrell.

3.  Centre for Energy Efficient Technology & Energy Management (CEETEM) Conceptualizing, planning and implementing the various policy guidelines/schemes in the field of Energy Conservation and Energy Substitution.. The major tasks entrusted was to super tune the already well performing super thermal power plants of NTPC by conducting regular energy audits and also suggesting various means of substituting conventional from of energy by non conventional methods. First time developed Energy Audit Procedures for different aspects of thermal power plants i.e Boiler, Turbine, Aux Power Consumption, Coal Handing, Ash Handling, Insulation, etc.  Engineering Services Deptt Conceptualization of new power plant in pipeline, Job interalia includes Site identification, obtain various clearances/commitment, Techno economic study of various alternatives, topographical survey, revenue survey, soil investigation, railway siding study etc. Nodal coordinators for Feasibility Report preparation of Kayamkulam & Manglore STPP.  Operation & Maintenance Deptt. Worked as a control engineer of 200MW unit of Singrauli Super Thermal Power Plant. Developed expertise in facing typical, sudden emergencies related to power plant in general and various machines in particular. Also involved in major overhaul of 200 MW m/c of BHEL. Coordinating with the Maintenance Department for Planned Unit O/H based on OPIs (Operation Performance Index).  Engineering Executive Trainee As Engineering Executive Trainee, underwent a comprehensive one year training programme in various aspects of power management. The programme included on Project Management, Contracts, Finance & Budgeting, Personnel Management, Behavioral Science etc.
