Engineered a high-frequency, real-time Order Management System (OMS) using concurrent and multi-threaded processing, integrating Betfair APIs to handle parallel market events and order executions with ultra-low latency and high availability. Architected an event-driven system design leveraging WebSocket-based asynchronous messaging, enabling high-throughput, non-blocking communication and real-time propagation of market data and order state changes under heavy trading loads. Optimized system performance by implementing thread-safe data structures, efficient synchronization mechanisms, and asynchronous workflows, ensuring scalability and deterministic behavior during peak market volatility. Built and maintained backend services using Java EE (J2EE) standards including Servlets and RESTful APIs, ensuring scalable, modular, and enterprise-grade system design aligned with distributed microservices architecture. Designed and implemented a high-frequency trading simulator that emulates Betfair order books and market microstructure, enabling parallel simulation of multiple markets for back-testing, stress testing, and validation of order management logic.

Owned end-to-end backend architecture and delivery for Masai Learn and Gradigi, engineering scalable, low-latency RESTful services using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and MySQL within a production-ready three-tier architecture. Partnered cross-functionally with frontend (React/​Redux) and product teams to rapidly ship data-driven features, implementing JWT-based authentication and Spring Security to ensure secure, stateless, and high-availability user workflows. Led containerization and cloud deployment using Docker and AWS EC2, configuring Nginx for reverse proxy and load balancing to handle concurrent traffic, optimize system throughput, and maintain production-grade reliability in a fast-paced startup environment.
