I am a software developer and solutions architect with over 15 years of commercial experience. My main technology over this period was PHP 5 (no frameworks). I especially specialized in integrating systems with external APIs: delivery (e.g. InPost), payment (e.g. PayU), other stuff (e.g. Let's Encrypt) but also third party integrators (BaseLinker). My most recent experience, however, is built up with C#, .NET, TypeScript + Deno, GoLang, OCaml, and Shell Scripting. I am generally Backend-Oriented but I also did some Frontend stuff so I am familiar with the basics of Preact and HTMX. I worked with both SQL and No-SQL databases, mostly with MySQL, SQLite, and SurrealDb. I also have basic knowledge of Git (but usually automate it by using IDE plugins) and of Docker (but I wasn't a DevOps). I am very open to learn new technologies (although I don't adapt them all equally quickly and willingly). I was one of the leading software architects in the company, specializing in iDesign architecture but able to design using other paradigms as well. I am a fluent user of multiple AI tools, enhancing my efficiency in dealing with syntax shenanigans. As a drawback, I might not be able to immediately answer a tricky question about a programming language by heart. I eventually develop the solution in a reasonable time, I guess this is what matters. I am also a skilled information gatherer. From time to time I was also responsible for internal pentesting the applications developed by the company as well as examining my co-workers against their vulnerability against unannounced social engineering attacks. Polish is my native language but I also speak fluent English, communicative German, and I am able to read Russian. Italian is very slowly attempting to catch these up. I love languages. When there was a need to write, translate, or proofread User Manual, API Documentation, or webpage messages, I was usually the first one to call.
