Pietro Bortoletto, MD, MSc, FACOG

Dr. Pietro Bortoletto is a Reproductive Endocrinologist and Reproductive Surgeon at Terra Fertility, specializing in diminished ovarian reserve, recurrent pregnancy loss and implantation failure, Müllerian anomalies, fibroids, endometriosis, and Asherman's syndrome. Born in São Paulo, Brazil, and raised in Miami by Brazilian and Italian parents, he is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish. He studied at the University of Miami and Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, completed Ob/Gyn residency in the Brigham & Women's/Massachusetts General Integrated Program, and trained in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at Weill Cornell's Ronald O. Perelman & Claudia Cohen Center for Reproductive Medicine, where he also earned a Master's in Clinical & Translational Investigation. He serves as Video Editor for Fertility & Sterility, having previously been its Interactive Associate in Chief and Media Editor for F&S Reports. His research focuses on making fertility treatment safer, more effective, and better for patients, with more than 60 peer-reviewed publications along with reviews and book chapters. He lives in Arlington, Massachusetts, with his wife Malavika, a maternal-fetal medicine specialist, and their children, Pia and Luca.
