Matrix Design Group LLC is the safety and productivity technology leader for mining and industrial applications. Since 2015 I have managed both full time employees and part time casuals or contractors as projects required. I am responsible for all facets of the branch in Emerald including financial performance, customer service, inventory and logistics, human resources and project management. I have grown the business since commencing as the Manager and more than doubled the revenue over this time. Have recently completed the audit to obtain AS/NZS 3800 accreditation for the Emerald facility.

I am a skilled and experienced Engineer with extensive experience working in the Mining industry. As an employee I have demonstrated that I am very reliable, committed to health and safety principles, show attention to detail, possess highly developed written and oral communication skills, work well alone or as part of a team and can adapt very easily to change and handle pressure well. Current duties listed below but not limited too: • Managing the business unit for our QLD coal mines • Customer relations • Service support and management • Account management • Project management • Sales • Service agreements and contracts • Service scheduling and training. • Continuous improvement of digital mine software and associated systems • Installation and maintaining wi-fi networks and associated services • Lamp repairs, servicing and configuration • Installation and optimization of underground Wi-Fi network and communications • VoIP phone repairs and configuration • Accutron ventilation monitor installation and commissioning • AS3800 repairs to all NLT equipment • Technical assistance to site technicians.

Planning, Training and implementation and continuous improvement of Automated systems in three Longwalls across 2 sites. This include operator and trades training of the automated systems. Planning and preparation of Shearer overhauls and upgrades with the OEM. Technical support to the LW electricians and coordinators. Breakdown investigation and reporting to management. Optimisation of Wi Fi network, shearer communication and Automation utilisation in the longwall. I was also part of the Project Team working with the OEM's in optimising the availability and reliability of the equipment on site.

During my time with Bucyrus I was part of a team supporting all QLD customers. Installation, commissioning, maintenance and repairs to all Bucyrus longwall equipment. Trade and operator training. Automation implementation, commissioning and training. Weekly breakdown and downtime reports.

As a Service Engineer with Eickhoff I was responsible for Electrical and Mechanical support to the NSW clients which included Ashton Coal, Integra Coal and Ulan Coal. During this time I was mostly based in Singleton NSW supplying Breakdown and maintenance support to the local customers. During Longwall moves I was in the Eickhoff workshop assisting with the overhaul and upgrades of shearers, repairs and programming of the shearer remotes and control PC's. I also prepared and commissioned the machine parameters and Automation setup as per site specific requirements. Assisted sites with commissioning and start up. Onsite training of operator's and tradesmen on the Shearer was also part of my responsibilities as well as the management of consignment parts on site. I also did weekly downtime and availability reports for the customers.

Installation, Maintenance and repairs to Environmental Monitoring and Control Systems such as Despro & Trolex CO, CH4, Smoke and Velocity meters. Maintenance to Underground Scada network. Installation, Maintenance and repairs to Conveyor belt Starter panels and Safety devices. Installation, Maintenance and repairs of Electrical Power Distribution up to 11kVolts. Wiring of Electrical panels. Training of mine trades people in the operation and maintenance of all systems.

Training of Electricians on all protection and Automation systems on site.

Electrical and Mechanical maintenance, repairs and Fault finding in Coal Processing Plants. Maintenance and Repairs to Coal Cutters, Roof Bolters and Battery Scoops in production section. Installation, Maintenance and Repairs to Conveyor Belt Drives, Pump Stations and Air Compressors. Underground Power distribution, HT Switch gear and Sub Station Maintenance up to 11kVolts.
