Piers Smith is an architect and digital strategist who has been at the forefront of innovations in how people access digital services and information for over two decades. In government, he has held several key technical and leadership roles across the social welfare, business and industry portfolios, including as the lead architect of "Nadia", an intelligent virtual assistant co-designed with the disability community. As Cognitive Architect at UneeQ, Piers designs systems for customers using UneeQ's digital human platform to create new experiences and emotional connections with their customers and communities. He is also leading key emerging work for UneeQ in the humanitarian sector, exploring how digital humans can help people overcome social and other barriers to fully participate and exercise their rights to services and information.
